Soil samples may also be taken by the respresntative. On sections where the polyethylene sleeve has been removed for inspection these will be suitably repaired
- Backfilling with sand around pipes and up to 150mm over pipes will commence, and backfill and compaction with excavated material for remainder of trench will be undertaken. A compaction test will be performed. A 200mm depth of topsoil trimmed and seeded from stockpile will be placed over the excavation. Excess excavated material will be stored at the stockpile for excess excavated material
- The security fence will be removed along with erosion and sediment control measures and works will commence at the remaining excavation points
- All stop valves, air valves, hydrants, scour pipeline outlets, and scour valves will be located and levels taken at various points at the fitting location and recorded
