Northwest Growth Centre May 2010 - January 2011 The Reed Group - Northwest Precinct Works: Watermain work lot 12 - Kellyville, Sydney Involved the installation of 4.5km of DN450, 750, 900 and 1050 DICL and Sintakote SCL pipe, including thrust bores, concrete encasement and major thrust block design. Includes dual and triple main installation within shared trench within trench within roadway. Welding works, inspection points, valves, hydrants, and connections. Watermain laying was to Sydney Water standards and supervised by Australian Water. January 2010 - January 2011 The Reed Group - Northwest Precinct Works: Sewer lot 16 - Kellyville, Sydney This project involved the installation of 3km of DN300, 375, and 450 polypropylene pipe SN10, 000 in Kellyville, Sydney. The project was commissioned in order to supply a new trunk sewermain to the growing population in the Northwest Sydney area. Works included site establishment, compound setup, management of deliveries, installation of pipework through sensitive bushland easement, thrust bores across roads, and reinstatement of works. Concrete manholes were constructed at both 1200 and 1800mm diameter, two coats of epoxy seal was applied as per EPM 2, and induct / educt ventshafts were erected along the line. Connections to existing sewer infrastructure established via the implemtation of a flow management plan. Sewer main laying to Sydney Water standards and supervised by Australian water.

June 2010 - January 2011 The Reed Group - Northwest Precinct Works: Watermain work lot 11 - Kellyville, Sydney Installation of 6.3km of DN450, 750 and 900 DICL and Sintakote SCL pipe including 7 thrust bores, concrete encasement and major thrust block design. Included dual and triple main installation within shared trench within roadway. Welding works, inspection points, valves, hydrants, and connections. This project also included 800m of section through backyards. These areas required PCR's to be obtained, fences removed and temporary fences installed. On completion of works the area was reinstated, and the temporary fences were removed and permanent fencing was re-erected. A corridor was constructed through backyards be erecting ATF fencing once back trees were taken down. Strict access controls were adhered to and PCCA's obtained and signed off. Bores included a 60m bore under Sunnyholt Road (RTA) and a bore under a Caltex Garage entrance. Watermain laying to Sydney Water standards and supervised by Australian Water.

2010 The Reed Group - Worcester Road, Rouse Hill A 1050mm diameter RCP overflow line running from the Rouse Hill Reservoir down Worcester Road in Rouse Hill was newly constructed in the roadway. Works included traffic control, sawcutting pavement, installed 700m of reinforced concrete pipes, precast 1500mm x 1500mm concrete pits, insitu headwall and dissipater structure.
January 2010 - November 2010 The Reed Group - Northwest Precinct Works: Sewer work lot 7 - Rouse Hill, Sydney Involved the installation of 700m DN1050 RCP's including precast pits, headwall, dissipator, and security fencing. The scope of works included: - Site establishment
- Installation of precast pits, pit risers, converter slabs, and access covers
- Supply and place concrete blinding and benching
- Supply and installation of valves spindle, shroud pipe, shroud pipe support, and surface box
- Supply and installation of hydrophillic seals at pipe penetration
- Supply and install infill at pipe penetrations to ensure water-tightness
- Supply and installation of structures, including fencing
- Supply, installation, and maintenance of environmental controls
Sewer main laying to Sydney Water standards and supervised by Australian Water.
